Syncopated (Legato) Pedaling
A random chord appears each round. Play it, then press the sustain pedal afterit sounds — not before. From the second chord on, release the previous pedal as you play the new chord, then press again once it's held. This is the "release-and-press" cycle that keeps harmonies clean instead of blurring into each other.

Needs a sustain pedal (physical MIDI pedal or the on-screen Sustain button) and a MIDI keyboard or the on-screen keyboard. Half-pedaling isn't graded — MIDI only reports pedal up/down.
